Youth camp for teens in years 10 to 12
with a special program for leavers
12 - 19 January 2019
Each year a group of teenagers and young adults head to the shores of Oyster Harbour in Lower Kalgan for a week of fun. Staying at the first class accommodation of Great Southern Grammar School, we have Bible studies in the morning, seminars before lunch, and meetings in the evening. Every other minute of the day is filled with fun activities, great food, and making new friends.
WHAT WE DO
8 unforgettable days in Albany
Camping Ground is for anyone starting years 10-12, with a special leavers program for those who have completed year 12.
The whole week is open for everyone. It is the perfect opportunity to find out more about Jesus and also includes playing massive wide games, doing art and activities, playing sport, eating delicious food, and making lifelong friends.
The camp costs $445 all inclusive. This covers transport, food, accommodation and all activities for the week.
We don't want finances to stop anyone coming. If finances are an issue please contact Chris.
ASK A QUESTION
Training Ground is for those who have finished school, and want to come and serve the rest of Camping Ground by setting up, clearing up, washing up, chopping up and cleaning up. It is a lot of hard work, and a lot of fun.
To pay you back for all the hard work you do, you will take part in excellent lectures before lunch each day, as well as most of the other activities of Camping Ground. You have your own accomodation, and is a great way to make and grow friendships within St. Matt's.
To register for Training Ground please fill in the Registration Form. If you have any doubts about whether Training Ground is for you, or if you have any questions, please get in touch.
MEET THE TEAM
Chris was raised to love all that this world offers, until he was introduced to Jesus by an elderly Sunday School teacher. It wasn't exciting. It wasn't flashy. But being lovingly told about the God who loved, lived, died, and rose for him, changed him forever. Chris has worked with teenagers for 15 years. He is married to Karen; enjoys spreadsheets, woodwork, and entertaining; and longs to see more young people excited about Jesus.
